Autumn 2 - Festivals and celebrations
This half term, the children will be expanding their vocabulary and building confidence via a range of texts. They will explore different festivals and celebrations from around the world and compare how and why people celebrate these. They will also continue to work on their understanding of number and develop their cooperative play skills.
Make sure to follow along with your child's learning journey on Tapestry! https://tapestryjournal.com/
Children have been exploring the polar regions and finding information about Arctic and Antarctic animals. They have spotted the polar regions on a map and compared it to the United Kingdom, looked at inuit homes and compared these to our homes and written fact files about animals which live in the polar regions.
